{"id":2317,"date":"2025-02-04T08:08:06","date_gmt":"2025-02-04T07:08:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prepast.org\/?p=2317"},"modified":"2025-05-22T09:32:36","modified_gmt":"2025-05-22T08:32:36","slug":"actuacions-forestals-per-fomentar-la-pastura-extensiva-al-montsec","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prepast.org\/es\/actuacions-forestals-per-fomentar-la-pastura-extensiva-al-montsec\/","title":{"rendered":"Actuaciones forestales para fomentar el pastoreo extensivo al Montsec"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Se han iniciado trabajos silv\u00edcolas en zonas estrat\u00e9gicas para la gesti\u00f3n del riesgo de incendios y la mejora de la biodiversidad.<\/strong><br><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70)\">En el marco del proyecto PREPAST, y m\u00e1s concretamente dentro de la Acci\u00f3n 6.1 de ejecuci\u00f3n de actuaciones forestales para la mejora de pastos, se ha empezado a implementar una serie de trabajos forestales en \u00e1reas clave de la Sierra del Montsec. Estas actuaciones tienen como objetivo reducir la vegetaci\u00f3n en zonas estrat\u00e9gicas para la gesti\u00f3n de incendios, identificadas por los Bomberos de la Generalitat, a la vez que se mejora la accesibilidad y la calidad de los h\u00e1bitats para la ganader\u00eda extensiva. De este modo, se promueve que sea el ganado quien contribuya al mantenimiento del control de la carga vegetal y, al mismo tiempo, se minimiza el riesgo de incendios forestales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A fecha de enero de 2025, ya se ha completado la primera actuaci\u00f3n, con la ejecuci\u00f3n de un desbroce de matorrales en el municipio de Sant Esteve de la Sarga de 13 hect\u00e1reas en una de las zonas priorizadas del proyecto. Estas zonas han sido seleccionadas mediante un an\u00e1lisis multicriterio con tecnolog\u00eda SIG, teniendo en cuenta el riesgo y la prevenci\u00f3n de incendios forestales, el potencial pastoral, la presencia de biodiversidad de inter\u00e9s, entre otros. Aun as\u00ed, un criterio indispensable para su selecci\u00f3n ha sido la disponibilidad de explotaciones ganaderas dispuestas a incorporar estas zonas a su manejo extensivo. Sin este compromiso local de mantener la zona con pasto, la actuaci\u00f3n no tendr\u00eda continuidad ni utilidad pr\u00e1ctica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las acciones que se han desarrollado incluyen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Desbroce de matorrales. Se han eliminado matorrales para reducir el recubrimiento por debajo del 30%, priorizando la retirada de boj y enebro. Se conservaron especies palatables y \u00fatiles para la fauna, creando una estructura discontin\u00faa para reducir el riesgo de incendio.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Poda de los pies existentes. Se podaron los \u00e1rboles para garantizar una separaci\u00f3n m\u00ednima de 2\u20134 m entre el sotobosque y las copas. No se intervino donde ya hab\u00eda bastante distancia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tratamiento de restos vegetales. Los restos vegetales se trituraron o trocearon y se retiraron del terreno. No se dejaron c\u00famulos y se evit\u00f3 hacer cordones dentro de la zona para facilitar el pastoreo posterior.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u00abAmb aquestes actuacions forestals estem generant condicions \u00f2ptimes perqu\u00e8 els ramats tornin a ocupar el territori i contribueixin a la seva gesti\u00f3 de forma natural\u00bb<\/em>, explica Helena Ballart, ingeniera forestal de la Fundaci\u00f3n Pau Costa, entidad socia del proyecto PREPAST<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"771\" src=\"https:\/\/prepast.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Imatge-de-WhatsApp-2025-05-22-a-les-10.18.58_1fa3d682-1024x771.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2329\" srcset=\"https:\/\/prepast.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Imatge-de-WhatsApp-2025-05-22-a-les-10.18.58_1fa3d682-1024x771.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/prepast.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Imatge-de-WhatsApp-2025-05-22-a-les-10.18.58_1fa3d682-300x226.jpg 300w, https:\/\/prepast.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Imatge-de-WhatsApp-2025-05-22-a-les-10.18.58_1fa3d682-768x578.jpg 768w, https:\/\/prepast.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Imatge-de-WhatsApp-2025-05-22-a-les-10.18.58_1fa3d682-1536x1156.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/prepast.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Imatge-de-WhatsApp-2025-05-22-a-les-10.18.58_1fa3d682-16x12.jpg 16w, https:\/\/prepast.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Imatge-de-WhatsApp-2025-05-22-a-les-10.18.58_1fa3d682.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Estas intervenciones tienen un doble beneficio: reactivar zonas de pasto que hab\u00edan quedado abandonadas y crear una zona de baja carga de vegetaci\u00f3n cont\u00ednua que conecte diferentes espacios naturales y favorezca la movilidad ganadera y la gesti\u00f3n del riesgo de incendio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Est\u00e1n previstas seis actuaciones forestales adicionales que se realizar\u00e1n a lo largo del 2025, en coordinaci\u00f3n con los profesionales de la ganader\u00eda participantes del proyecto. El objetivo es que estas mejoras vayan acompa\u00f1adas de una entrada progresiva de reba\u00f1os con criterios de pastoreo dirigido, optimizando as\u00ed el uso del territorio y maximizando los servicios ecosist\u00e9micos que ofrece el pasto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PREPAST es un proyecto impulsado por la Associaci\u00f3 per la Salvaguarda de la Biodiversitat i la Natura \u201c <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lasabina.cat\">La Sabina<\/a>\" en coordinaci\u00f3n con el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ctfc.cat\/\">Centro de Ci\u00e8ncia i Tecnologia Forestal de Catalunya<\/a>, la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paucostafoundation.org\/ca\/\">Fundaci\u00f3n Pau Costa<\/a> i l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ager.cat\/\">Ajuntament d\u2019\u00c0ger<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--70)\">Estas actuaciones cuentan con la ayuda de la Fundaci\u00f3n Biodiversidad del<a href=\"https:\/\/www.miteco.gob.es\/ca.html\"> Ministerio para la Transici\u00f3n Ecol\u00f3gica y el Reto Demogr\u00e1fico (MITECO)<\/a> en el marco del<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondoseuropeos.hacienda.gob.es\/sitios\/dgpmrr\/ca-es\/paginas\/plan.aspx\"> Plan de Recuperaci\u00f3n, Transformaci\u00f3n y Resiliencia<\/a> (PRTR), financiado por la<a href=\"https:\/\/next-generation-eu.europa.eu\/index_en\"> Uni\u00f3n Europea \u2013 Next GenerationEU<\/a>, y se alinean con las estrategias estatales de gesti\u00f3n forestal sostenible y prevenci\u00f3n de incendios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default
